Multi-user X
Can someone tell me how to open multiple instances of XWindows? I know that is possible to have several "Graphic Consoles" by pressing Ctrl-Alt-F7/12, like you can do with text consoles by pressing Ctrl-Alt-F1/6. I tried to log in X by pressing Ctrl-Alt-F7/12 but only the F7 combination works, the other ones only show a black screen with a flashing cursor, why?

Glad to be of service. Your problem is peculiar, never heard anything like it. I googled and could still not come up with anything concrete.
Tell me what desktop manger you use and I'll dig a little deep. Cheers. |
