Question Multi Monitors Gnome

I am have two VGA ati mach 64 video cards, one in the AGP and the other in the PCI. I am trying to configure Gnome to display one windows session across the two monitors. I think this is called xinerama mode? I don't know where to start. Can someone point me in the right direction?
