Multi-booting Morphix HDD install

Shalom everyone,

I'm trying out Linux for the first time and a friend gave me a MORPHIX Cd to start out with. When I installed XP, I had 2 partitions made - one for XP (~70GB) and one for Linux (~20gb). But, when I start my computer it boots as if Morphix were never installed. When Morphix was setting up LILO, it asked me where i wanted it (or something like that) and I choose the MBR. What elese do I need to do?

Eh, try reinstalling Morphix or use a third-party bootloader. It sounds like Lilo didn't install at all. Those are about the only things I can think of since Morphix doesn't let you make a boot floppy during the install.

could you make it work. I try to install morphix on my laptop and evrything seems to work find. I choose the MBR to install lilo, but at reboot insead of having lilo, I have the screen with a lot of 99 and can't do anything. I read on morphix home page that the problem might be resolve by disababling the virus protection on the bios I would try that.

how can I install lilo manually
