"mt -f /dev/nst0 rewind "mt -f /dev/nst0 rewind

I am working on rhl 5 version. I want to take backup of my system into a magnetic tape. i inserted the tape and I have given a command "mt -f /dev/nst0 rewind. I got a error message that no such directory. How to make this command to work on my system. In /dev directory I checked for nst0. But i did not found it. So please how to take backup in my system

Have you tried other device names?
