MSN Messenger Download


Errrrrrrrrr, I am such a newbie..LOL

Ok I downloaded amsn-0.83

Then I untarred it ..and it saved in my /home/default ....and there is 'msn' folder..

In order to install it, What do I do next..


I am so lost..

tar xvzf amsn-0_xx.tar.gz

cd msn

./amsn

but i use kopete bec. it support msn,icq,yahoo,aim,gabber,..

You finished the install already, just cd to msn directory and ./amsn enjoy !

I usually make a shortcut on the Desktop for it

Have you already untarred it if so how and where?

Also you might check /home/default if this is where you downloaded and untarred the file there should be a msn folder.

click on your "start" button and then click where it says run, type in /home/default/msn/amsn

Which window manager or desktop environment are you using, gnome, kde, xfce, icewm, if you are not sure which distro are you using?
