Question MSI TV Card - Analog. Help With AV out to TV

Hi all. I must first thank the moderators for an excellent resource.

I have this old P III tower (512M RAM, 40Gib IDE drive, MoBo mounted Network card, USB, sound and VGA). I'm currently fumbling about linux distros trying to find something that suits all my needs. So far I have used Puppy, Ubuntu and Mint. So far I like Mint, but I'm open to change.

My main concern is I want to use an outdated MSI analog TV card as my main video-out on a server based in my living room. Thought being, I wont need 2 displays for my living room. Whenever I need to access the tower, I just turn the channel. I know the TV input now needs an external converter, I don't wish to use that function anyways.

Finally, could someone aid in cracking the included remote for fun?
