Mplayer Instalation
Hey its me again,
How do I get permission to create the needed dir I get this error when I try to 'make install'
cannot create directory `/usr/local/lib/mplayer': Permission denied
Can someone tell me how to get permission to create the directory? Can I make it manually? Thanks for the help.

Possibly you tried to install from a user account? You have to be root to administer your system, so open an x terminal and command this first:
Code:
[phil@uilleann phil]$ su -
Password:
[root@uilleann root]#

Now I have a problem, every Time I try to run wine it gives me this error
"Warning: could not find wine config [Drive x] entry for current working directory /home/azain/.wine; starting in windows directory."
Then it says that the program I'm trying to run isn't there. Though I know it is. Help Please!

if you're asking a question about wine, then posting in a thread called "MPlayer installation" isn't too great an idea...
