mpeg4ip and mplayer problem

Dear all,

After I have successfully built both mpeg4ip and mplayer by using the gcc 3.1 at Redhat 7.3 platform, I don't know why I can use them but getting the following error message,

[root@mting923 faad2]#mplayer
mplayer: error while loading shared libraries: cannot open shared object file: No such file or directory

[root@mting923 faad2]#m4player
m4player: error while loading shared libraries: cannot open shared object file: No such file or directory

[root@mting923 faad2]#mp4live
mp4live: error while loading shared libraries: cannot open shared object file: No such file or directory

can anyone give me some advice to solve this problem? Thank you very much~~

If you're trying to listen to mp4 songs try Xine or Amarok, there's no need to make it work 'manually' unless you want to listen to mp4 songs in a very specific platform.

Depending on how you got GCC 3.1 on your system, you may find a better way to grab this package, but:

It's for Fedora Core 3, but hopefully points you in the direction you need. If you installed GCC-3.1 via an RPM, it's likely that same place you got that RPM will have the libstdc++ rpm you need.

Good Luck!
