Mpeg decoder

Hi,
I am a linux newbie. Now, i am using fedora core 4. I found that i can't open MP3 and MPEG files. So, plz help me, where can I find free decoder for that files.thank u for reading.

you need the codecs, fedora doesnt support them out of the box.

Are you familiar with yum? you can use that to get the addons you need
