MP3s and other music stuffs


FEDORA CORE 5

ok i have a buch of .wma files on my computer from when i was running Windows XP, but i cant play any of them i was using the Microsoft Zune software to do the whole music thing but i cant install that software anymore i already have "wine" on my computer but i would like to know if thers a way to run the Zune stuff again if not how can i make my .wma files work

there have been some accounts of the zune software working with wine, but it is unstable and only supports 1.1 usb transfer. for the wma files:

add the livna repository

Code:
rpm -ivh http://rpm.livna.org/livna-release-5.rpm
then install gstreamer libraries

Code:
yum install gstreamer-plugins-bad gstreamer-plugins-ugly

I use mplayer to play wma files.

hah thanks guys i managed to get the mplayer to work but with the gstreamer i couldnt figure out how to get the music to play in it i couldnt even find it actualy but they both installed good lol ill keep messin with it for a while but now i get to listin to my tunes again! lol thanks!
