MP3 support on SuSE 10.0 anyone?

I downloaded the free OSS version of SuSE 10.0. I cannot seem to get mp3 support at all. I keep being told to install the xmms plugin xmms-mp3 but can only find the fedora rpm. Will that work? If not is there some way for me to get mp3 support.

If I can't get mp3 support can someone recomend a distro that I can but one that isn't had to use (lots of nice GUI configuration like Yast and a tonne of hardware support).

Thanks very much in advance
