mp3 songs in fc2


how can i play mp3s in fc2 if i need any software please suggest thank u

Fedora Core 2 does not have mp3 support built-in. However you can visit this link http://yarrow.freshrpms.net/rpm.html?id=268, get the rpm xmms-mp3-1.2.8-3.2.fr.i386.rpm installed and enjoy the music using XMMS.

Go the command line.

type:

su -

*password*

up2date xmms-mp3

All done.

Now xmms will play mp3 files.
