mp3 players for ubuntu

some time ago I asked if anyone had got an mp3 player to work with ubuntu 8.04 lts.(not an ipod).
there didn't seem to be a satisfactory way to drag and drop,this morning I mounted the disc that came with the mp3 (goodmans 4gb. player)opened in wine and loaded the program I can drag and drop from limewire directly onto the player and also edit and delete,I suppose it should work with other music players like amarok or exhale but I have not tried yet.

You can drag and drop files to any player which acts as a USB mass storage device and doesn't use a media database (I.E. almost all cheap MP3 players). From the looks of this Goodman player, that is exactly what it is. Which also probably means the Windows software you are running in Wine is unnecessary.
