mp3 player for fedora 6
Hi there,
I was trying to install mp3 player for my fc 6, I tried this command that I got from some website but this didn't work and gave me following error: [root@mave ~]# yum install gstreamer-plugins-ugly Loading "installonlyn" plugin Setting up Install Process Setting up repositories http://linuxdownload.adobe.com/linux...ta/repomd.xml: [Errno 14] HTTP Error 404: Date: Thu, 17 Jul 2008 15:45:18 GMT Server: Apache Transfer-Encoding: chunked Content-Type: text/html; charset=iso-8859-1 Trying other mirror. Error: Cannot open/read repomd.xml file for repository: adobe-linux Can anyone suggest me what can I do? |
...just to add
...just to add, I have a 64 bit HP workstation, if that helps

I would probably try to setup a different repository:
http://www.howtoforge.com/managing_p..._yumex_fedora7 Also, FC6 is rather old, you may want to consider updating to the latest release. -Chad |
Support for FC6 was dropped almost a year ago. As a versions hits EOL(End Of Life) the repos start dropping like flies.

try xmms, www.xmms.org.
|
I thought xmms was dead? Audacious is the "new" xmms.

Yeah, If I were you, I'd update your system to fedora 9 - also you might
want to try amarok. I think it's brilliant! |
