MP3 / divx players

What are some good players for these files? Are there any included in fecora. I say that there was one prog that "no longer supports mp3s".

Tinkster 08-29-2004 03:24 AM

MP3:
  • xmms
  • mpg321
  • kmediaplayer

DivX:
  • mplayer
  • xine
  • totem
  • ...

Cheers,
Tink

What is a good pic viewing prog? Something similar to Acdsee in win.

Also, is there a codec package, like nimo, that will install divx codecx, etc?

On Fedora 3

thx

Is there something similar to MPlayer in Windows? MPlayer used to play any type of audio/video media files.

Fedora 3 is ancient...9 is the latest version.

Something similar to acdsee would be GQview. Codec package? You can grab all of them from the mplayer site.

Yeah, it's called MPlayer...works the same on Windows or Linux. You could also try Kaffeine or Totem.
