Mp3 and MPEG AAC plugin


hey can anyone guide with installing mp3 and mpeg aac plugins on fedora core 8?

is there a program that plays both files?

FC 8 has something called codec buddy which will help you open media files. Some codecs are free and others are not.

Try to open the file from Totem Media Player and Totem didn't find the codec then it'll lunch Codec Buddy and let you download codecs. MP3 codec is free but MPEG is not.
