Unhappy Mozzilla mail erased my folders

I am a newbie and are running Xandros 2.0 , using mozilla as my email prog.

Odd thing upon todays bootup, No normal email settings anymore - all gone! I was prompted to set up a new email group etc, so I did and no surprise all my old folders, inbox etc were gone, it was a fresh new start, so I checked my web browser (also Mozilla) and that had reverted to a new setting also!, Hmm where has my old emails etc gone? anyone know?

Also for the past in Windows platforms running MS outlook I can backup all my personal folders as the .pst file and save it to disk,is this feature avail in mozilla? if so how will I do it? Cheers to anyone that can help, Shane

All of your settings should be stored in ~/.mozilla - are you sure you didn't change/delete anything in your home directory?
