awesome lol... im a windows tech/network engineer... i thought it would be easier than this... it is so much fun though learning stuff. have that same feeling i did when i first touched a computer... oh also... i guess tehre is something called Up2Date its like windows updates or something a feature that was recently released... does that work with fedora core 6? I looked around but i dont know how to navigate too well as of yet... thanks guys

Just drag your current location (the bar at the top) on to the icon with the house on it.
|
Up2date is being phased out in favor of yum, and yes both to get updates and install new packages. Just read the Working with yum page at the Fedora Site when things come back to normal in a few days. Or open a xterm session and type; man yum

For some reason now if i go to add/remove software of pretty much anything it says software information is currently in use. i rebooted and it still says it i am trying to install limewire for linux.... any suggestions
