Angry Mozilla dies in new RH 8.0 install

I have installed RH 8.0 on my box (dual boot) a day or two before Thanksgiving. Everything was great, God was in his heaven and for the first time I had a penguin living under my desk. Then things started going wrong, wrong I tell you. When I go to open Mozilla, the app comes up just fine and peachy. Yet, went I try to use Mozilla (IE. send data) it dies and falls off my desktop. WTH is going on here, in the past (few days) Mozilla was working great. For the record, I have not add any items (apps, files, etc) to my system. This problem just popped up.

1. What is causing this to happen? It seems like something
is sending a "kill" message to Mozilla every time it tries
to send data now. Can that be?

2. What can I do to fix this? <Note: I have formatted and
re-installed RH 8.0. It work at first but the issue has come
back again.>

If any of ya out there gotz
an idea er 2 on this ID love
ta here em,

Talking Re: Mozilla dies in new RH 8.0 install

I am no expert by far, but where did you get your distro from? Maybe it is corrupted. I would at least try different disks first...
Hope this helps!

I got the distro as a iso image direct from the redhat site. As a portion of the install RH 8.0 gave me the chance to "test the media" for faults. It took 2 downloads (at like 18 hours a pop wth)
and a few burns, but i finaly got 3 disks that passed the testing. So, im thinking the base install was ok.
