Question mozilla dies everytime i am trying to open page with flash content

hi all,

i am quite new with linux, i am using Redhat Linux 8.0
i use Mozilla for browsing the internet, and i found that i couldn't see flash animation in the brwoser. it was shown as a blue static image.
then i tried to install flash plugin, which i downloaded from macromedia, and right after the installation, i can't even open the page with flash content, most of the time the browser died or hang.

thanks in advance
