Moving from Fedora to CentOS


I have Fedora installed and I am trying to change to CentOS. Can't boot from live CD I download

Assuming that you downloaded a disk image (.iso), then did you use the "burn from iso" option? (it also might be called "burn from image"---or similar.

You can mount the CD and look at the files---if there is just the one .iso file, then you fell into the common trap.

Also, be sure you BIOS is set to boot from CD.
