move file from server to server using ssh (putty), plz help


I want move a zip file from a server to other server using putty but I am not sure the command for this task, I also want to download that zip file to my pc too, so what's command to download ?

scp is the command. I'm not sure if Putty has that built in, however. Putty folks have provided psftp (secure ftp client), that will allow copies if the destination machine has a sftp server running.

The putty package also includes pscp.exe which is a command line tool similar to scp. If you have a putty session called box2, you can transfer the file /some/path/to/file.bz2 to your local box with:
pscp box2:/some/path/to/file.bz2 /home/steve/file.bz2
