Mouse Wheel on Logitech dual optical

i just reinstalled Mandrake 9.1 because i got rid of windows, and wanted to switch the partition it was on. I usede one of the default drivers for my mouse and the mouse wheel worked fine, but now i cant find one that works. Again i am using mandrake 9.1, and this is the options i have in /etc/X11/XF86Config-4

Section "InputDevice"
Identifier "Mouse1"
Driver "mouse"
Option "CorePointer"
Option "Protocol" "ExplorerPS/2"
Option "Device" "/dev/psaux"
Option "Emulate3Buttons" "false"
Option "Buttons" "7"
Option "ZAxisMapping" "6 7"
EndSection

but im confused, i also have a file /etc/X11/XF86Config which one does my computer use????

thanks

" i also have a file /etc/X11/XF86Config which one does my computer use????"

I think that Mandrake uses /etc/X11/XF86Config-4. All the other distributions use /etc/X11/XF86Config. I think that the Mandrake program to edit /etc/X11/XF86Config-4 is called xdrake (or Xdrake or XDrake).
