mouse unmoveable in xwindow mode
hi, i just installed redhat 8.0 on my pc. this is the first time i have ever used linux so i am a complete n00b. when i first installed the os, graphics and mouse ran smooth but i think i may have altered the graphics driver and now i am having problems with xwindow and the mouse cursor stays up in the top right of my screen where i cant use it. usually i get an error for xwindow when i login the first time but if i wait and type startx xwindow comes up in a much lower resolution and my mouse is jammed in the top part of the screen. I'm guessing linux isn't as idiot proof as other operating systems and me being the idiot already managed to mess something up.
