Question mouse speed in mandrake 9.1

how do i change the mouse speed in linux mandrake 9.1, all i can do is change the acceleration of the mouse which is completely different.

if you wan't to change it in X, then I have a soluution for you. For the console I don't know if you even can change the settings.

Put this in your X init script:
xset m acceleration treshold

Try experimenting with it (I have: xset m 2 4 and it works nice for me). For details see: man xset
