Mouse cursor keeps moving left by itself
Hi,
I've got a problem with my Arch flashdisk. When I start xorg, my mouse cursor keeps moving left until it reaches the edge of the screen, where it stops. I checked the connector, etc., but it didn't help, so I guess it's software-related. What can be causing the problem? What conf files should I append? |
Hello mike54, welcome to LQ,
maybe the problem is related to your mouse. I'd recommend to try another pad. Be sure to have a non-reflecting pad for the mouse (this matters only if you have an optical mouse). Markus |
Thank you for answer but that's not the case. The mouse works OK in Windows, moreover, it moves even when I lift it or turn it upside down. (It's a 10-yrs old optical Logitech, nothing special and works with no problems with the evdev drivers when I run the Arch system I have on the harddrive - I wonder why it doesn't work with nearly the very same system that is on the flashdisk) I'll check for errors but I don't think there will be any...
Thanks anyway, Mike Edit: Oh my... Now I've got it! It's the badly callibrated joystick that is also connected... |
