mouse 'runs' back to bottom left of screen.

Hi,

my mouse cursor is acting strangely, in that when I try to move it around, it 'runs' immediately back to the bottom-left of the screen. this happens with more than one mouse (PS2 and USB versions).

This problem suddenly occured while I was playing a first person shooter game. Is there a way to get the mouse function properly again?

Problem solved!

I feel a bit stupid though

It was my wireless mouse that was on my side cabinet, which I use as a remote control for watching movies in bed. The wireless mouse was actually pointing away at the wall, but the signal must have bounced back and caused the problem. as soon as I moved the wireless mouse I cold move the cursor on screen properly again.
