Mounting other windows partition

Hello friends,
I want to mount my all windows partition in my "Red Hat Linux", please help me to mount all my windows partition in linux.

And please tell if i mount windows partition is it harmful for windows/partition?

Hi Javed,

It should bewithout problem.
Jut use the usual mount commmand with the appropriate options.
For Windows try mount -t fat or mount -t ntfs.

Are you really using Red Hat Linux and not Red Hat Enterprise Linux? If so, it's out of date and no longer supported and you should really consider upgrading to a newer distribution.

You can use mount -t vfat /dev/sda3(the windows partition) /mnt/win (the target directory)。this does no harm to your windows partition.
