Question mounting burned dvd movies


i'm having a problem with mounting burned movies (dvd+r). when i try to mount i get this,
mount: no media found. i can mount retail movies and watch them without any problems. here is my fstab:


/dev/hda1 /mnt/hda1 ntfs noauto,users,exec,ro,umask=0222 0 0
/dev/hda2 /mnt/hda2 ext3 noauto,users,exec 0 0
/dev/hda5 /mnt/hda5 ntfs noauto,users,exec,ro,umask=0222 0 0
/dev/cdrom /mnt/cdrom udf,iso9660 noauto,users,dev,ro 0 0

and my filesystems:

i tried movies that i burned with winxp and linux, both give me the same error.

This doesn't really sound like a linux problem (though I may be wrong). The CD/DVD drive you are putting these discs in probably doesn't recognize the disc as being valid media. Try checking to see if the drive is compatible with DVD+R discs. Perhaps even try a different brand of blank DVD. I have fixed many odd problems by trying blank media from different manufacturers.

i have no problem watching those dvds on my winxp partition and on my stand alone...
