Mounting and using hard disk of remote box


I want to mount remote box's second hard disk on my box.

something like this

i have only 20 gb in by box. i want to take help of my friends computers 2nd disk , which is 80 gb.
any pointers please

NFS mounts Linux network shares and would do the kinda thing you're after. Are you trying to mount it across the Internet or are you on the same network? Takes work on both machines to setup in terms of allowing them to connect to each other, and your ISP may stop the traffic flowing. I've never tried it across the Internet but have had friends mounting their home drive from home machine onto desktop at work.
