how do I mount a cdrw/dvd drive. system not seeing it.

What version/distro of Linux? Desktop environment? What kind of hardware? What have you done/tried???

As a rule, you can probably type in "mount /dev/sr0 /media", but both of those things can be different, again depending on your distro/system/hardware. Read the man page on the mount command. You may also be able to use /dev/dvd (or /dev/cdrom), instead of sr0, and the /media is just any directory (preferably one that's empty). Also, be aware that you can't mount a blank media...
