mounted fat32 problems

i just mounted my shared fat32 partition with windows XP. whenever i add files to it from windows, i can see it with linux, however, when i add files to it from linux, i cannot see it from windows. did i mount incorrectly?

use the command "mount" without any parameters to see if the fat32 partition is mounted correctly. How did you add the files to it? Have you mounted it before you add files? Did you get any errors when you try to add files?

hey, thanks, it wasn't mounted. I mounted it last reboot but not this time, so thats why it wasn't showing up. I also found out how to automount it so that I don't have to mount it each time.
