Mount Permissions

How do I change the permissions of a mounted NTFS partition (in /windows) so that all users can read and access (though not write). chmod isn't working for me.

Cheers,
Dan

use a

umask=0222

in the options section

A typical line would look like this;

/dev/hda1 /mnt/windows ntfs auto,ro,umask=0222 0 0
