Mount lost when system re-boots?
Hello all.

I've successfully mounted a network RAID drive in Ubuntu 12.04, using the command "sudo mount -t cifs \\\\\\Public /mnt/PhotoArch", and it works properly.

However, when I re-boot the computer, the mount is usually not functioning until I re-execute the mount command.

Is there a way to ensure that the mount is permanently in effect?

Thanks much!

During shutdown, all mounted devices are unmounted. On reboot, the only devices mounted are those listed in /etc/fstab.

You need to do some research on how to add the apporpriate line to your /etc/fstab to mount the raid drive.
