Mount hd with start & end
Hi all,

Is it possible to mount a hd with the start and end information?

I have a hd that gives this info:

device boot start end blocks id system
/dev/hdc1 * 2715 4111 11221402+ c fat32

Is the mount command able to mount this hd if so how?

Well i have never seen it done before and in the man pages nothing seems to indicate how to do this therefor i presume that itÅ› not possible. Able to mount it the following way: /dev/hdc1 -t vfat /mnt/hdd.

U will also be able to mount this automatically when your system boots up place this cmd in your /etc/fstab: /dev/hdc1 /mnt/hdd auto defaults 0 0

Best of luck
