Mount FTP folder

Is it possible to mount an FTP folder onto your own computer? I tried just typing in "mount /mnt/test" and "mount ftp://user:passwd@ /mnt/test" with the response "can't get address for ftp"
Is such a thing even possible? What about a WebDAV folder? Could you mount that?
