LinuxQuestions.org - More newbie Questions on Xandros

I have a few more questions i need help with in Xandros. (total lost newbie)

Where is the exact programs installed folder (i.e similar to the program files in Windows). as i am looking for my programs folder for where firefox is installed (i.e where it installed to).

Secondly how to i access other folders in the Home file manager. As there are folder trees called /usr and what not but the highest the Home seems to allow is /my home how do i go to directorys above that my home. The highest directory seems to be simply ¨/¨.

Thirdly is there anyway i can boot into Xandros without it always asking me for a username and password all the time as i am the only person going to be using it so password protection and accounts are of litle use.

Fourthly how do i find USB devices as i have a USB DVD burner that is not being found.

Fifthly Do i need an antivirus/Anti Spyware program. I know people say that most virus
are Windows specific but i do not like the sound of that most....

Sixthly How do find and disable background programs as nero said some autorun mounting programs will damage my burn unless its disabled but i dont know how.
