Monta Vista Linux Startup Files

I have a MontaVista Linux OS Running on an FPGA board and I want to know where I would be able to set up a few things including:

-Automatically Login as root?
-Automatically Create a directory?
-Automatically Mount a File System?
-Automatically Run a Program from that File System?

Any Help would be appreciated.
