Monitor Recomended 60Hz but 'drake sets it at 70Hz

The recomended setting for my monitor is 60Hz but drake sets it to 70 Hz. Tried changing it in Controle Panel but unable to find an option for Frequency. Is this option in controle panel , if not where do I go to do it I like to be on the safe side .

Use a text editor to open /etc/X11/XF86Config, go down to the monitor section, and adjust the appropriate number.
