monitor and resolutions

Hey,

I've played around endlessly with my xorg.conf file but I don't want to stuff up my monitor. I've got it working nicely at 1152 x 768 and I forgot about the problem but I just remembered now so I thought I'd ask while I remember. What are the frequency settings I need to set my res at 1280 x 1024? I know my monitor supports that but I seem to have a no-name brand or something and I can't find any resources online and I don't have a manual

Thanks

My modeline is
Code:
Modeline "1280x1024" 167.25 1280 1344 1504 1728 1024 1025 1028 1072
with
Code:
    HorizSync 30-96
    VertRefresh 50-160
You may start from my modeline, but that's rather high (I've got 17'). If you have problems I recommend xvidtune. It allows you to change the settings in fly so you can get best config for your monitor.
