Moneydance install?

I have been trying to install Moneydance on f12 and can't figure out what I'm doing wrong. I think I'm following the directions, but nothing.
Could somebody walk me through step by step?
Thanks

Welcome to LQ
How are you installing?
From source, rpm....
What did you do, what are the errors?
....

Make sure you download the one you need. if you do not have Java installed get the one that includes java.

Also rather than a commercial program you might take a look at the financial packages in the repos.

grisbi - personal finance management program
eqonomize - personal accounting software for the small household economy
eekboek - Bookkeeping software for small and medium-size businesses
gnucash - A personal finance and money tracking program
kmymoney2 - personal finance manager for KDE

There are probably others as well.
