Hey Guys
I'm running 7.1 with a modular 2.4.18 kernel as a gateway. I am trying to set up NAT and masquerading. Until a few hours ago I had assumed that all the proper modules were loading -w-regard to iptables filtering. But then I did a "netstat -M" and received a message that masquerading was not implemented on my box.

The iptables firewall is up and operational. I'm trying to NAT a NT4.0 box. From the NT box I can ping anywhere the internet but when I try to access the net through the IE browser I get nothing ... "server can't be found".

Is there any way to find out just which modules are loaded. I've looked in /lib/modules/..../ipv4 and all of the proper modules are there, but when I did a "modprobe -c" (for config file) I did not see ANY of the iptable modules listed.

Can anyone help me figure this out

You want to find out which modules are loaded? Try lsmod as root.
