modprobe vboxdrv failed use ´dmesg`to find out why

I updated my ubuntu eepc to 11:10 and can no longer start the computer. Stuck with the above message.

What do I do?

Since you updated Ubuntu the vboxdrv does not match the kernel version anymore. Refer to the VirtualBox documentation as how to recompile the vboxdrv module after kernel upgrade. I forgot whether that is possible.

The easy way out is to re-install Virtualbox. Your virtual machine images remain untouched.
