That modem worked correctly in windows and it is an plug and play modem,a driver is installed when I connect in windows PC. I bought it from GrameenPhone Bangladesh ltd.

Hi,

I could not find out which module the device will use with Linux. Maybe the output of
Code:
lsmod | sort
will help. You'll have to look for a modulename which could have something to do with the device. You may post the output of "lspci" and the output of "lsmod" and please the output of

uname -a
