Hello,

Can someone recommed a mobile phone and email client that can work on Linux, and be able to sync emails and contacts from email client to a phone?

Thanks in advance

that depends on the phone as various phones use different methods/protocols to perform this task, there is no 'standard' communication protocol for syncing phones
not all phones are supported by said programs, some aren't supported at all

Hi, I am aware of that fact, however I was hoping one would share successful story with me. I see on the internet many experiences but it would be good to hear first hand, for example Nokia N97 and Evolution work well if you install xyz software..

Cheers
Denis

k, didnt know if perhaps you had a specific phone in mind, the HCL on this site should have a list of mobile phones that are supported and to what degree, and perhaps how.
