Question mobile internet


i have LG multimedia mobile with idea sim card and it provides internet facilities,i run it on xp but i am unable to configure it on Linux ultimate 2.2..please help me how to connect it .

please suggest me some steps to connect internet on Linux through mobile phone.

Should not wvdial help you configure it on Linux?
Provide the steps you do on windows to set it up as modem.
But wvdial should do it for you. There are threads here on LQ about setting up mobiles for internet. You should be able to find it out.
