mkisofs

I am using mkisofs to make and iso of some files

I am getting the following warnings

1. Warning: creating filesystem with (nonstandard) Joliet extensions
but without (standard) Rock Ridge extensions.
It is highly recommended to add Rock Ridge

2. Using OPENS000.RPM;1
Using NETWO000.RPM;1
for kind of error for some of the rpm files in directory containing file to be made as an ISO.

Any one having any idea to get rid of such errors.

Hi,

add Rockrodge extension by using
Code:
 -R
while creating the iso file.

Commandline should look like this
Code:
 mkisofs -J -R -v -o SOMEWHERE_TO_PLACE_IS_FILE.ISO DIRECTORY_1 DIRECTORY_2 ...

but you don't need rockridge extensions. They allow better compatibility between the iso and native linux filesystems
