mkfs.msdos command not found

I am using arch linux

I am trying to format a partition as

mkfs.msdos -F 16 /dev/sdb1

but it says command not found

I also tried

mkfs -t msdos -F 16 /dev/sdb1

this also says mkfs.msdos not found.

How to do it.

Arch has a good wiki and fora - if you plan to use Arch I suggest you get used to reading them.
Install the dosfstools package.
