mke2fs /dev/fd0 is not being recognized

[root@localhost Tina]# e2fsck /dev/fd0
bash: e2fsck: command not found

How do I get Fedora Core 4 to recognize the cd now in the drive so that I can do a backup?

e2fsck checks the media sorta like chkdsk in DOS/Win.

Try /sbin/e2fsck. But /dev/fd0 is the floppy...

Just shipped my computer away to have it repaired. A fluttering screen problem, or rather screen content. Will try that command when the computer is returned.
