Missing menu for "Removable Disks and Media Preferences" in Gnome: Fedora9

I recently installed Fedora 9 on my laptop. I am using Gnome. From what I have read so far there is supposed to be Removable Disks and Media Preferences option available in the >> System -> Preferences -> Hardware -> ... but I cannot seem to locate this anywhere. I have already looked into the edit menu option to see whether if for some reason the Removable Disks option was unchecked but it is not even present there. Could it be that the Gnome Volume Manager is not installed on my system?

You can check to see what packages are installed on your system with this command:

rpm -qa | sort | less
